NASHVILLE, Tenn – August 23, 2011 – GRAMMY®-nominated artist Jeremy Camp has many reasons to celebrate: his current radio single “The Way” is No. 1 at AC Monitored, he will begin his fall headlining “We Cry Out” tour next month as well as releasing his personal book, I Still Believe: Discovering Hope and Healing in the Midst of Life’s Deepest Valleys. In addition he and his wife Adrienne welcomed their new son last week.
After going No. 1 on the AC Indicator and National Christian Audience charts this summer, Jeremy’s radio single “The Way” topped the AC Monitored chart this week. This marks his 24th career No. 1 single. This single is from his acclaimed worship album, We Cry Out: The Worship Project, which released last August.
Supporting the latest studio album, Jeremy will be headlining his tour “We Cry Out Tour” beginning September 29th in Georgia and concluding on November 20th in Texas. This tour will feature reigning GMA Artist of the Year Francesca Battistelli as well as special guest and label-mate Adam Cappa. Tour dates and ticket information can be found online at http://jeremycamp.com/tour.
In addition this September, Jeremy will release his first book that shares his personal story that has touched thousands since his label debut in 2002. He has penned this story along with co-writer Phil Newman. Camp’s book, I Still Believe: Discovering Hope and Healing in the Midst of Life’s Deepest Valleys, is a personal reflection on his story of losing his first wife, Melissa, to cancer just months after marrying, and how he has grown in his relationship with God through the past ten years. This touching book portrays a full-circle account of Camp’s story that has impacted his music.
Last week, the Camps welcomed Egan Thomas Camp into their family on August 17th at 1:20 A.M. Egan joins big sisters Bella (6 ½ years old) and Arie (5 years old). We'd like to congratulate the Camp family on this new addition.
